Meet the Owners

Josh Peck and Emily Berkshire are proud to be the owners of Fleet Feet Sports Elmhurst.

Josh has been running for almost 13 years and has been with Fleet Feet Elmhurst since 2008. He is a three time finisher of the Chicago Marathon with a Personal Record of 3:07, which earned him a spot at the Boston Marathon. He is currently training 5-6 days a week for his debut at the Boston Marathon this April.  His favorite training runs are in the early morning on the Prairie Path, but he has been known to run from the store in Elmhurst to his house and back, a cool 16 miles! Emily always has a glass of Kona Cola Nuun waiting for him! Josh's goal for 2010 is to just stay healthy. Don't tell Emily- but Josh has a man-crush on Mark Buehrle!

Emily has been with Fleet Feet Elmhurst since the summer of 2009 and she is just starting her long-distance running career. Emily ran track during her time at Hinsdale Central high school and just recently trained for and completed her first 5K race- the 2009 Dan Gibbons Turkey Trot. She loves going out with our fun run group on Thursday evenings and prefers Orange Ginger Nuun. Emily will soon begin adding miles to her schedule as she starts training for her first half marathon. Josh and Emily recently purchased a new home where they will live after their summer wedding. Emily hopes to not harm Josh in any way this year as she juggles running the store, moving into their new home, and planning a wedding!! Emily knows Josh has a man-crush on Buehrle and couldn't be prouder. She cried when Jim Thome got traded from their beloved White Sox.

Together Josh and Emily bring over 14 years of retail experience with them to Fleet Feet Elmhurst. They are excited to share their passion for running and helping others while growing their family and the store in such a great community.
